Axiata Group Bhd, Southeast Asia's second-largest mobile-phone provider, plans to borrow about RM1 billion (US$284 million) of Islamic loans, chief executive officer Datuk Jamaludin Ibrahim said today in an interview in Kuala Lumpur.
